I've had two separate parties come out to me recently saying negative things about me. I've gotten:

--That I only know how to talk about one thing and can't hold conversations about anything else, and the people don't care about the stuff I have to say.

--That I'm really a mean guy and am selectively nice to people when I feel like it. To top it off I was compared to someone else I know who is a giant jerk, so I'm a bit taken aback by the whole thing.

I'm not sure about the first since I don't know the people that well but the second came from three people I know quite well. I'm pretty easily bothered by this kind of stuff and it has got me worried that I really am some big asshole to everybody whether I like it or not. Life sucks right now. Dah.

Am I really a giant uninteresting asshole?
